Gotta love them Florida birds... Osceola #1

Well opening morning went off with a bang here in Central Florida.  Caught this fella lurking about where he shouldn't be around 8:45.  He responded to a Quilted Sapele and Ebony box caller from Mike Lapp.  A 3" load of Hevi-13 #6's did the rest.  7/8" spurs and a 9" beard...

... congrats on a fine Osceola Gobbler for sure - & I certainly agree with the others on that mighty fine "proven turkey killer" of a box caller right there from Mr. Lapp - the proof is in the puddin' ... 8) 8)

Dang you guys posting your harvests :)  Making me want to go hunting!!!

Great job and way to break in a call!  I've yet to see an Osceolla that didn't have some razors on them...
