We were antique looking to day and I picked up a cedar box by Johnny Stewart.
Do any of you know much about a box call TCB101 by Johnny Stewart of Waco Texas? The paddle has Johnny Stewart Waco, Texas burned into it near the handle.
The box is a little stained and feels brittle and has $11.99 hand written on it. Inside of the box was an 80-81 Tn hunting reg and a sale pamphlet from Johnny Stewart. In the pamphlet they advertised 45 RPM and 8 track tapes. The cost of the call was $14.95 and a diaphragm call was $3.95.
I think this was a high price back then due to a hunting lic in TN at the time was $30.30 in the 80-81 guide. Now they cost $136.00 but a diaphragm is about the same price. So what can you tell me. I seen where his company was purchased by Hunter Spec in 1999.
