Scrap Pile Call

Last weekend I went out to Jeff White's "shop" to pick out a field grade call.
Instead, I picked up a Yellowheart over Black Walnut Cost style box that Jeff couldn't put down.
While there, he showed me some calls and lids that were in his "scrap pile".  He seemed to really like this one particular Jatoba lid. I asked him to try it on a Black Limba long box that he said didn't sound very good.  The combo sounded great.  I had him sand off the bottom and re sign it for me.  I'll hunt with both calls.  Thanks Jeff.

  Steve has a way of finding the treasures you have been holding back. Jeff I did get one of those type calls off of Steve but believe me it was like pulling teeth... Congrats Steve on two fine calls.
