Remembering Don Chancey

 As Nashville looms on us in a few weeks, I think of a good friend who passed away some years ago. Don Chancey was a true gentlemen. He always met you with a smile and a firm hand shake. Never venturing into the world of criticism or rendering a sarcastic word about another call maker, he rose above all that to make a quality call and enjoy the art of call making.

 In the next few weeks, I plan on sharing some of the fine calls Don made for me and would ask if you have any of his calls, to feel free to show them on this thread.

Very nice, although I never met the man nor do I own any of his calls, from what I have read he was a fantastic man. Looking forward to seeing the calls.

Bill this is a very thoughtful idea, Thank You It is hard to believe it is almost 10 years since we lost Don I look forward to seeing your collection of Don's calls and I will post pics of the one call that I was fortunate to get in a trade with Don.
Thats a great call and I have always liked Don's artwork

Bill, Thank You again for starting this post I often think of Don and Peggy around this time of year with the convention coming up in February
