Finally made it down to Florida to try my hand with the Osceolas. Pretty country, very different from what I'm used to. Birds were Gobbling, but not going crazy, he gobbled about a dozen times on the roost and maybe eight to ten more times on the ground. Came in steady but slow, took him 20 min,To cover about a quarter mile. As soon as he saw the DSD decoys
He committed. Came in on a steady walk, took him at 30 yards.
Been planning this a year, over in 40 min. After daylight first day. No complaints here, great bird, best I've taken in a number of years. Went 21#, 12" beard and 1 1/8" Spurs.
