Jason Shaffer Holsters

Jason made these call holsters a few years back and I never posted them and thought you all would like to see his handy work. Jason does high quality work with the top grade leather. If you look above the calls in the middle of my cabinet you can see the turkey tote I got from him. The double barrel trumpet holster was chewed one day in the woods while hunting with Gunner when he was 5 months old lucky he didn't get my call only the leather

my short box holster he made has stood up to years of service.....still as good as new!!!

Thanks guys.  Yeah... I sure miss making holsters.  We put a lot of pride into those.  Since the divorce and life going to heck over the past 2 years I have been forced to put a hold on leather work but still carving when time permits.  I hope to start making those holsters again here in the future once things settle down, back to normal and less hectic.  Its very tough dealing with health issues, divorce, job changes and more.

I have two of Jason's holsters (longbox and shortbox) and they are top notch quality. You can tell he took a lot of pride in them by the craftsmanship.

Hope to see you making them again soon Jason. Hang in there buddy.

I also have one of Jason's longbox leather boxcall holsters and that thing is tough as nails, had it for about 8 years now!  *up* *up* *up*
