a prank and a #2 pot from a new maker

Back some time before my vacation--I ran ole Torman down to get in line for one of those Diamond wood Strikers. The order went normal because me and Rickey have a few of Steve's strikers  .
Well, a couple of days ago --a box showed up and I saw it was from Steve ...I opened it, and kinda started EXAMINING the wood to see if it was really Diamondwood . I sware....I didn't know if it was a poke at me or not. It was a STRANGE color. It is PINK-loud pink!!!! Seems that he was in kahoots with a couple of other makers here---(NAMES WITH HELD ONLY FOR THE PRESENT!!!!). I kept getting questioned if I had received any boxes lately---I couldn't figure it out, but felt pretty confidant something had to be up.
Yesterday evening--it all came together........
Another box showed up from Torman. I opened it, and low and behold, there was my real diamondwood striker.....with Steve's 2nd pot call to leave his shop. I never saw the writing in the bell of the pink one till this morning when I took these pictures to share. On the inside of the hot pink one was written "TROPICAL PASSION"....IT ALL CAME TOGETHER THEN.
Ya got me good Steve with it---but it will be used---surely I cant loose one that color in the green woods !!!
The best part was the pot call...it means so much to have her Steve. I cannot wait to see where you take this new adventure in your wood working skills my friend. Thanks a lot for the packages my friend ---they will see time in the woods

The pot call?  A work in progress.  If you start at about 2 o'clock and come across, it has a sweet spot that could possibly call in a turkey.  I'm having fun and paying debts.  You may never hunt with it, that's not expected.  You have my second pot call to add to your collection.
