I finished up this box call yesterday that is headed to its new home tonight. Cherry lid over a solid Maple box with Cherry inlay in the box and a little wood burning art to dress the call up a little. The left rail has a real course raspy yelp to it with the right rail being a little higher pitch. I sent this call to the new owner prior to doing any finish work on the call for him to listen to. From what I'm told he took the call outside on his back porch and left out his first yelp with the call and was cut off by a gobble in the distance. When he made his next yelp with the call he was again cut off by a gobble. Needless to say he wants this call.
