Cost Style Boxes
« on: March 16, 2013, 09:27:44 AM »
Here are 2 calls that I have been working on for my upcoming turkey season.  These are my first attempts at a cost style call, both being hand hewn.  I sure like the looks of the cost style call but the way that I hunt most of the time they are just to bulky so I thought I would shrink one down.  The miniature box is 5.5" long with a 7.5" paddle and will be in my vest this spring.  Both have a poplar box.  The Full Size has a Black Walnut lid & base with Padauk inlays and the Mini Cherry lid and base with Black Walnut inlays.

Thanks for the look.

I've seen a bunch of good stuff coming out of your shop.  Especially like this mini box.

Good luck this spring.
