Carved Turkey Tote
« on: December 17, 2012, 10:06:34 PM »
Guys,
Here's a carved tote I completed not long ago for a member here.  He asked me to post pictures of it so here it is.  A classic style, carved with scenes just as requested on a whitetail shed antler.  It is also accented with black walnut end caps and finished off with my hand made latigo leather lanyard.  Thanks again to the new owner and hope you all enjoy seeing it.---Jason

Thank you, Jason, for posting these pictures of your incredible work.  I am the very fortunate recipient of this beautiful piece of functional art - as beautiful as the pictures are, the piece is even more impressive to see in person.  The detail is remarkable.  The experience from my initial telephone contact with Jason to the time of delivery of the tote was fantastic - Jason is not only a gifted artist but very patient and he clearly loves what he does.  I hope that I'm fortunate enough to have an opportunity to use the tote in the field this spring for its intended purpose - if so, I'll post pictures.  Thanks again, Jason!
