Venison Goulash Soup

4 venison shanks cut into 3rds
2qt tomato juice
3lbs onions sliced and sauteed
1/8 cup soy sauce
1/8 cup steak sauce
4tsp paprika
3 bay leaves
2 garlic cloves chopped fine
1tsp ground cinnamon
1tsp nutmeg
cayenne pepper to taste

Place venison and tomato juice in stock pot bring to boil. let cool to allow any fat to come to surface and then skim off fat. Add remaining ingredients and simmer until meat falls off bone.
Remove bone,bay leaves serve over egg noodles,rice, or sa a soup with a heavy bread.
