Ferguson's Entries and others
« on: February 09, 2012, 05:11:02 AM »
Luckily I had the pleasure of heading down and seeing David on Tuesday night.  Being so close, I had to see his entries and since I wasn't going to Nashville he was kind enough to let me take some pictures :)

I've always been amazed at David's desire to keep his art work so defined by nature.  He knocked these out of the park.  I'm not sure these pictures do these calls any justice.  I know one thing, I really like the wood burning with no finish on them.  It really pops out of the wood and looks more 3D!

My favorite one and one that took David many many hours to finish!

Second entry

These are a couple of the other ones there that I liked too.  I hope he has them with him and shows everyone down there!

And David had to bring this out to put in the picture...  I drooled over this almost as long as the calls  *up*

David has some amazing woodburning talent. Those are simply amazing.

I really like the first two. I feel like I have been right there in those scenes. Turkey hunting and elk hunting are my favorites now.

I wish David the best of luck as he is a true gentleman who is quickly becoming one of my favorite call makers.  The hospitality he showed me while visiting him last summer was something that I will never forget.  His talents are endless and improving with every call!  I look forward to meeting up with David and others tomorrow on the floor at the show. *cheers*

Those calls are breath taking.  What a talent.  And, I agree with you, Porter, so true to nature.  Best of luck in Nashville with those calls, David.
