Title: Couple of hunters
Post by: firedup on January 20, 2012, 10:06:58 PM
Been getting some shop time and had a few "plain jain" hunters I needed to get done for some folks.  Also a little intimidated to post up any call pics what with the outstanding level of work that has been popping up here in the last couple months.  But hey, there has to be the first rung on any ladder...rite?? ;)

A piece of Spalted Pecan I picked up from Mr. Parrish last trip down to hunt.  Walnut lid. Real pleased with this one.  Has some real nice turkey in it.

A classic cherry and walnut combo.  Has the classic sound too.

Another classic. Butternut with walnut lid. This one want's to hunt so bad if it had legs it would run out, jump up and be in the truck waiting on ya... ;D

Well glory be, lookie lookie here....a fine collection for any vest indeed. LT these hunters are definitely ready for the turkey woods and your style is working my friend.  Love that sexy lid design of yours and that pecan...well shes' purdy for sure Charlie was good to you on that one! The butternut looks a bit harder than most and bet it can really bark and cover them deep hollows you got in WV and flush out those gobblers.

We have missed you and you call posts LT so keep that sawdust piling up sir *bannana*

Appreciate the kinds words from everyone.  Great to be back in the shop.  John and Scott, not a table....a beard box that I "whupped up" a couple years ago.
