If the GOP would find someone with Theodore "Teddy" Roosevelt's platform, guts and forsight, I'd vote straight ticket the rest of my life. I guess when Corporate America bought out the GOP, that's all gone forever.

How does a body change that when money is the motivating factor? It looks to me if a body runs for principles for the people they are considered socialists left wing nuts and then the other side is the trickle down economics and run by corporate money. Which was proven recently that greed shuts the trickle down. Not understanding that if corporate money don't pay workers "higher profits" then workers can buy the goods. It breaks down the "circle of life" cycle. That is where we are now. No balance and a divided american people. Folks were living paycheck to paycheck and the sky rocketing energy prices broke the backs of a lot of people. Folks couldn't pay bills and went belly up. Then the domino effect played out. Now we're coming back. Tax revenues are up and jobs are coming back. All you hear on the media is how bad everything is and how certain folks caused it. Who's running on principals? What are the principals? How are they going to impliment principals? I haven't heard any of that? All I've seen and heard is finger pointing. Obama caused this and Obama done that. GOP and Corporate Greed caused this and done that. Nobody has a new plan to fix it.
I need to get off this politics stuff and get to working on some calls for Nashville. It's 3 weeks and I don't have anything done. I cant complain about onyone else when I'm as bad.

ya know---life or buisness isnt fair. Seems that children -through politics in school, had been sheltered and not exposed to real worl ideology. Sports for example---there are always winners and loosers. Life is that way.
Back a couple of generations ago, folks had work ethics,,,they didnt EXPECT to be provided for nor sheltered from dissapointment. When you were down you worked harder. We have allowed our government to strip us of all the principles this country was made great by...faith,family and hard work.
Its a entitlement society now and dangeriously close to Socialism. If its not too late, the MAJORITY that are the majority have to somehow show the MINORITY and re take, and re instate the solid principles this country was FOUNDED on and those same principles that made this country so great !!!
Entitlements suck and breed complacency !@!!!

Jeff, I'm wondering who the majority are now days. I'm not sure we have enough prisons to hold everyone if entitlements were all stripped away. They'll end up leaving the city and going to the country and robbing every garden put out. Riot and burn across the country instead of just California and the major cities. We'll end up in a civil war again if we're not careful. The days of self respect and morals are long gone. I'm not sure they'll ever come back. Oh, that wasn't written in French by Nostradamus it was written in Hebrew.

David may be right, in my thinking. It could very well be that one day the most precious thing in your household is a box of bullets. It may be necessary to FORCE civil unrest upon this country in order for it to eventually survive. The only other alternative might be that we just cave in to socialistic demands, day after day and year after year, until this country just fades into history. Maybe our Lord will come back before either one happens; I don't want my grandchildren to have to go through a civil war!

Democratic societies throughout history last only around 300 years! They destroy themselves from within the system! Count the years folks! Most large families in today`s society are entitlement families. Their welfare check is based on the number of children they produce! The children see the easy life and do the same! I have the honor of trying to teach these motivated individuals! *fall* It does`nt work! *aah* Sorry if I stepped on anyone`s toes!

You never stepped on my toes for sure! I agree with what you say 100% Get a plan together that will work to change it and run for office. I'll vote for you. (if your plan will work for society) We all know what the problem is. It just seems no one knows how to fix it. Everyone thinks their own interests are more important than others or the big picture. We all hide behind the cloth "myself included" and conveiniently forget and omit part of the hebrew words. A good example is 1st Timothy 6:10. I'm not a hipocrit and don't want to start quoting scripture but at times I forget to look past my nose at the whole picture. We all have heard the story of the ant and the grasshopper. Have we all read the words of "we should walk as crist walked"?

Dave, I agree with you and your message. The entitlement people even work the church community! Like you said if everything is taken away from these slackers most will try another easy way to gain a living! I can run for office but will never win! I do`nt have the funding or wealth! Plus as soon as I attack the "system" I will get defeated!

Yep. I body needs to plan and work with the system instead of against it. Change is gradual as how Bill started this post. My dad is a prime example. He's old school and fighting the system tooth and nail and the system is kicking him in the hind end every step of the way. I just shake my head and grin. This didn't happend over night and won't be fixed over night. All a body needs to do is look back at history. The best example with money and the economy is look at the stock market history over the past 100 years or so. Then match up the eb n flows with political parties. That's just the economy. Then take a look at morals and "modern" change. Proof is in historical facts not political propaganda being spewed out in todays media. Whether is be CNN or FOX.
