This is my personal favorite from the latest Hunter Series and truth-be-told I hate to let this one go...from the early stages I knew it was gonna be special and ole Snakeboots might have been right about this one...it should be going to Nat's. This was my first affair *peep* *bannana* with Redheart and it has quickly risen to the top of my hit list for lids *dance with Ipe. It has super friction and matched with this fine NY yellow poplar I got the best of both worlds with aesthetics and sound. The hunter who is receiving this caller is quite the turkey and whitetail thug so I hope he likes the tail feather backdrop to the Booner. The opposite rail is an image from a farm near where I grew up and a good friend of the families since childhood. It has long since been abandoned, but the image is forever lasting in my memory as many a good drink *peep* ::) was taken in my youth sitting up in the hay mound. In many ways this is a special call and I hope it brings the hunter many memories as well.

Another gem of a call----some hunter is a lucky man......heard this one, and its a keep, not that all those he posted are not. Dude, I am calling your boss right now....we are going to slow this work down..... ;D

Your artwork is very eye catching. Popular is a fine wood for a hunting box call, it happens to be a favorite of mine. I never heard one with a Redheart lid. I bet she sings! *up*

Scott , that is a very cool twist to your feather !! Great imagination on that one for sure . The scene on the other side is so good that it almost makes ya feel like you are walking down the lane to the barn . Looks like a pretty good place for some boys to get into trouble , LOL !! That is absolutely one of my favorite combos for a turkey call too . I am sure it sounds great too . Fantastic job my friend ! Great job !! *ride*

Thanks everyone for all the kind words..it really means a lot and Bob, I got many a story...and it's probably good I am now resolved to relaxing and building calls and just thinking about what I did, rather than doing what I did. ROTFLMBO
