Title: Stuffed with History

Here is another call using the same REAL OLD Maple lid & base from that barn by W. K. Flint, Erie Co, NY resting peacefully over some also old Red Cedar from Worthington Indiana, it too is from an old barn built in 1878.  Well it may be peaceful at the moment, but this call will bark and bite and the gobblers in Missouri better take cover.  The customer said he wanted a high front end, a hard break and plenty of rasp, well the hard maple came through with flying colors.  For wood burning this is quiet, also a request from the customer, but he did want my signature tail feather on the lid.  This is my first burn on a lid.  Sure hope he likes it and hypnotises *bannana* a bunch of longbeards with it.  Thanks for your patience, she'll be on its way Tuesday.

Well this Maple was a dream to burn...nice and even and holds the line well, but shading was a bit of a challenge...can't wait to do another one, maybe for Nat's

Somehow--ole Scott and I have really become friends even through his politics  ROTFLMBO.
He is a real force in the call making world---the man does it for the right reasons and I applaude him for the intense passion he has for this great sport....not to even mention the talent !!
