Title: MKW #1 call
Post by: Hobie on January 11, 2012, 12:20:28 PM
Mike and I talked about him making a ferruless call and when he did I had to get it off of him.But then he went one step further and made it his first laminated call.It is made out of Cocobolo and Ebony with a Buffalo horn mouth piece

Thanks, Fellas! That call took a lot more work to build than my normal trumpets, but I wanted to try it. It turned out better than I expected.
Anyway, I really appreciate the compliments!

Hobie congrats on a great call and for those who say they can't play one. It's doesn't take much air to run a good trumpet or wing bone and once you learn that it will all come to you much easier.

I could not agree more. The biggest problem with learning to run either a trumpet or wingbone is trying too hard. It requires a minimal amount of air. Most people try to pull too hard or too deep with the air.
