As I make calls and let them dry I make strikers.. The three in the first pic are (l-r) cherry, black locust, and padauk. The one below is curly claro walnut. The Claro Walnut is for Grand Nationals, decorative striker division. I may make a stand for it in shop class at school to spice it up a bit. I wish I could capture the curl in the walnut better; for the depth and clarity of the curl is simply amazing.

I slimmed down the tops and made the striker itself longer. They are easier to run. I have a new design I'm working on that's even easier to run.
