Title: Gun Season in the Buckeye State !

 Well tomorrow starts the gun season here in Ohio . I always have mixed emotions about it because it usually means that bow season is near it's end . I have been fortunate enough to fill 3 tags so far this year with my bow and I hate to see it come to an end for me . Once the guns start blazing it really changes the bowhunting . Tomorrow I will be taking my oldest Daughter's boyfriend on his very first hunt . Hopefully it will be a successful one in many ways ! Good luck to everyone ! The grandson whacked a nice 7 pt on the youth opener, so I stressed to him that he couldnt shoot another buck this year. I had been seeing a nice 160 class while bowhunting. You can guess what happened. No shots but still a great day with my new hunting partner. Good Luck everyone.  Lonnie

Rain , rain , rain . So far we have not seen a deer but we had 36 turkeys walk by the blind . Ironically it was the day after turkey season closed , lol . We have 5 more days to chase them and the weather is going to turn for the good !
