Had plans to start my two youngest daughters this morning on the 20ga Benelli. Most of ya'll have seen the stud my oldest daughter shot for her first bird. Well, its the young'uns turn this season. They are stoked to say the least.
We got em settled in behind the 20 ga this morning with the red dot lighting up the targets. It didnt take em any time to be dead on and I gotta say ---ready to slay a gobbler. They have all winter to get confortable and steady so they will be ready if ole dad can bring a ole longbeard into the 20ga's range. its funny, two girly girls, cheerleaders and softball players, all camo'd up and ready to drop the hammer !!! *bannana*
I cannot wait till this spring to get them in the woods and experience the spring sunrise with all its glory and sounds. If they feel half of what I do in the spring woods, I will be blessed as well as them . Little do they know what they are in for.
This Thanksgiving morn was about as good as they come--it represented the start of time we are going to spend alot of together getting ready for this special season. Its one I will never forget . I think I look forward to it more than them ;).
Happy Thanksgiving to you all here from my family !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Congrats Dad. Sounds like you are raising them right and there is no doubt in my mind that there will be many called into 20 ga. range. Soon they'll be calling for you. *cheers* RkLu

Ya might want to start looking around for a freezer......If they start killing gobblers like their Dad, you'll need the extra room... :o

Nothing like a snoot full of Nitro's to get ya going in the morning...Jeff sounds like ya got-em hooked, but don't let them see the snakeboots, they'll try and make a fashion statement out of them ROTFLMBO Your bringing them along well at their own pace and it's just got to be incredible when your together touching off the 20's and I can just imagine how excited you'll be come spring when the new season is uopn us. Hope they can keep with ole dad. Ya got us all fired up now so we'll be expecting plenty of pictures full of them Tennessee mtn Gobblers.
Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family too and to all of you guys out there.
