I love turkey hunting Spring or Fall. So of course I was out in the woods the other day hunting turkeys.
In the morning I did a lot of walking and calling trying to locate a flock. Around noon I went down by the creek and setup against a big oak.
I made a couple of series of kee-kees and kee-kee runs and heard a gobble after each series.
Within a couple of minutes four longbeards came marching in. The one shown below will be the honored guest at Thanksgiving!

Funny, I was thinking the same thing...I didn't know if I liked the picture of the creek or the gobbler better. Nice setting AND a nice gobbler--congrats!!
