Title: New Hornady turkey loads

Has anyone tried the new Hornady loads?
Hornady recommends improved cylinder or modified chokes!
10 to a box, less than $18 MSRP!

I also have seen them and was curious about how they performed.  Does anyone have any patterning experience with them?

NOW!  When I see a new turkey load, I'm kinda like the guy on Dirty Harry...I gots to know.
Bought some #5's last night at Dicks in Tupelo and my buddy and I tried them out this afternoon.  Modified chokes in an 11-87 and a Benelli.
40 yards.  5 hits in the vitals for me.  He had 8.  The wad was about 3 feet from the target.  I guess if I didn't have a turkey choke I would use them, but would rather have 6's or even 7's.  It's back to the Kicks .655 and Winchester Extended range for us.

yeah with a flitecontrol wad you cant use a really tight choke....... modified for max constriction.... I learnt the hardway....

Winchester Extended Range . They might cost more , but when it comes to a Gobbler, it's worth the extra money . The knock-down power is incredible . Most turkeys don't even flinch after they do the Winchester Back-Flip !!

Very disappointed in Hornady.. Here is a company with the resources to come out with something to make a splash in the turkey load industry and this is what we get.. A meager payload lead load with a re named flight control wad..

Their claims are never gonna be justified when folks hit the patterning board.
