Title: a Sassafras and IPE

Got my hands on some Ipe with some really neat history behind it from a friend NORTH of the Mason Dixon so to speak( Mr Witter-thanks alot friend),,,,the wood is salvaged from the Coney Islad Pier in New York. Some really hard stuff let me say !!! Married it up with some old Sassafras that I still have. The picture doesnt show the 3-D effect the wood takes in the sunlight.It takes on the effect of a Tiger Eye gemstone is the best way of describing it---stunning to look at the depth of color. This one is headed to a new home in the West Virginia area....hope ya like it friend......kinda wanted to keep this one for myself !! Roll a bunch with her man !!!

Nice work buddy!  That Ipe is sweet looking and I love the sound of sassafras.

Well well now even a blind squirrel....fellas Jeff is right about the Ipe, it is simply stunning, but that is all the Ipe ole Snakeboots is getting *peep* even if the call IS stuffed full of feathers.  Nice match on the Sassafrass  this is a killer call and set fine for the woods.

That Ipe looks sweet but I have a real fondness for sassafras boxes.  Doesn't seem like alot of people want a sassafras box.  But it sure makes a sweet caller. *up* *up*
