Title: Get to Pick up my 2010 bird from the Tax man today.

He's callin' Mama, ain't he?  Looks good!  If you don't have room for him, I'll gladly display him on my hearth in Mississippi, and all your friends can come down here to see him, no problem at all!
But please... don't call your taxidermist the "TAX MAN."  ...the words send chills up my spine!  *lol*

He will get home sick in Mississippi Tom. I will let him rest in the man cave down in the old hollar. Thanks. I first was going to put him on a limb but then decided to go with the barnwood pedistal look. This old bird gave me fits for years....wait to you see his hooks!!! I called him "Old Houdini". He always seemed to circle out of range then come in straight at your back and would strut behind you and gobble "for ever" shakin the ground. Well I got smart and roosted him one evening the last week of season and got tight to the roost the next morning and he flew down and after three soft calls I rolled him when he was in about a half run to my deke setup. This old boy was one of them old field birds that just liked to mess with a man. I will never forget all the battles we had and now I can look at him and remember each and every one of them when I get up in the morning.
