Title: Good Things to Come

It's not a fence post now but will be someday. I cut a big box elder tree in my front yard that was leaning over the house. When the center was opened up it was blood red. I've got the limbs cut up but the main trunk is still standing on the left in the picture. The bigger stuff will end up on the sawmill cariage. When this stuff dries I'll see what it'll make besides firewood.

You didn't have to go far for that one. Flaming Box Elder is sure a pretty wood.
