I was sitting by the mailbox in anticipation of my call from the August call swap today. Bingo! The postlady made me a happy guy! Well worth the wait, this is a slate on dogwood pot and it has a great sound! Thanks, Garrett!

Nice call, but I don't think it will fit in a vest! *up*

Glad you like the call Tom...dogwood is one of my favorite turkey woods for a call...That one has actually been field tested and was the demise of two birds...Don't know if you like 3" calls but I like the way it fits in the hand....
-
It sounds real good to me! I'll try to see to it that another notch gets put in it next spring!

If you use a soft wood striker on it it will purr like a kitten....I have a green popular tipped striker I liked to use on it...thanks... ;)

Great looking call Garrett. *up* When I saw it Tom, somehow I knew Jeff was going bring BIG EARS into the thread. *aah* You know Tom, the older I get, the bigger I wish my ears were in the turkey woods. My hunting buddy actually has a pair of huge Mickey Mouse ears made by some turkey mfg. to hear them better in the woods. This was before electronic ears became the thing.

I've always wanted to buy one of those game ear hearing devices but those dang things cost like 400 bucks.... *wha*

I need something Kang, I was down at xxxxxxx( I mean a public forrest) a couple of years ago with my son. We were standing on a high listening spot overlooking a tremendous bottom. I was making a few calls on my old Stribling just after light. I made a couple of more, and he said, "CAN'T you hear them dad, they are about 4/5 of a section on the other side answering every call you make." Thanks for young ears!!! I killed one of the three after my son hunted them for 2 days and gave them back to me. I think it is all that close duck blind shooting that I did in my younger years.

Crow shooting is deafening me. We killed 15 Saturday morning.

I used to do that also, until I ran into an electified cattle fence and could not get off the blooming thing. *cry* *cry* *cry* *stu*
