Seems like the stars or the moon is in the wrong alignment these days with all the accidents here the last few days. Well, we have another VICTIM to add to the list. Ole BOBBLEHEAD(aka....SPARKY) needs to be added to the list aslo now. The ole boy was moonlighting from his real job as a Game Warden, and trying to act like a callmaker ;D, when he snuck some sharp tools out from his moms safe place that he is supposed to stay away from. To beat that, he didnt ask her to use them(he may get grounded now). Well, she always told him to never...never play with SHAPR things....and it bite him. A chisel is a SHARP instrument Tim!!! It earned him a trip to the E.R. where he got 7 stiches to close it up.
The worst thing here is that now the game violators dont have to worry about his gun nor his bullet....its his shooting hand. This gives him TIME OFF without pay. Time to make more calls is the positive here. Hope ya get healed up friend and sorry for the way I portrayed the story,,,,just had to twist it up(add a little humor to it) a little sense it wasnt serious.
Serriouslly, your trigger finger isnt needed for turkey hunting the way you do anyway !!!! ROTFLMBO RkLu *lol*

Tim, I think you need to stop making calls so late. *awake* You must have been tired to cut hand like that with a chisel. I understand that you have to wait until your Mom goes to sleep before you can sneak THE SHARP TOOLS OUT. Remember like your Mom said "THOSE TOOLS ARE SHARP AND THEY CAN HURT MY LITTLE BOY". Sorry to see and hear that you got injured. Should have told McKamey you did it jumping over a barbed wire fence, chasing a poacher. Would have been less painful on the forum. Hope you heal up quickly and can take Jeffs' ear plugs awy from him. He deserves it! ROTFLMBO ROTFLMBO ROTFLMBO

Now Tim, If you really want to get back at Jeff, invite me to Marlins, ROTFLMBO I snore (Ask Mike) and he would need double protection. Like practicing safe sex...naaaaaa. Double hearing protection that is...ear plugs and a head set to make it noise free! Get better soon, customers are waiting for more of your calls.
Is the call you making when you got hurt on sale like 50% off and do you need blood money to pay for it?

How did you do that with a chisel? I'm not poking fun, asking a serious question. If I know how it's done I can try to avoid it. Hope it gets to feeling better. Steve

The photo looks like the palm of your hand Tim and the story I got you were checkering a call ??????? I never done any checkering ;D ;D how do you cut the palm when doing checkering ;D ;D ;D Glad it only took 7 stitches and was no worse heal fast my friend

Tim, I guess I was misinformed I hope it was not my advice that caused the injury LOL I don't know if you were doing it wrong but one thing is certain the chisels are surgically sharp !!!! Ya know it kinda reminds me of a video I have of Neil making a call and I believe he had a run in with a chisel. Get well and you will be back to making calls before you know it.

FYI Woodcrafter's has there wood carver glove on sale for $20.00 . ;D I'd pull the trigger on a set *up* unless you rather put it toward your co-pay *wha*. Get better Dude!! *cheers*

Lets see, the handle end goes in your hand, the steel or chisel part goes in the call, then you use pressure to remove wood hhhmmmmm, those swedish chisel instructions must be different than the American made craftsman. Tim, Get better soon!!!!!
