Your missing a nice chunk of meat there. Been down that road before, *aah* usually just my finger tips on the belt sander making lids.  Bill

I broke my thumb on a table saw. I haven't used one since and don't plan on it.

Happened today after church. Ripping a lip off a narrow  piece of trim for a frame. Good Lord let me keep most of my thumb &  the table saw had lunch.  *lol*

Seems I always have bad luck of some sort when I try to work on Sunday; not THAT bad, yet, though!

A lot of guys don't like to hear it but...SAW STOP technology.  Expensive but pays in the end.  JMO.---Jason

Only thing we use in our wood shop at the University.  Reason we went to it... a student cut a finger off.  Didn't take them long to realize after that that it was worth the money!

Ouch, I am sure that hurts like a son of a gun. I know from experience that it will be pretty tender for a while but at least it is still there. Good luck with the healling process.

Man I know that hurts.  I got in the second fight with my band saw about a month ago.   Glad I had the fine tooth blade in it.

Had one of those table saw incidents a few years back. But they fixed it up good and other than being a little shorter than normal...and permanently numb. Works just fine.  Thumbnail came back real strong and hard.   I can actually use it like a screw driver now!  *lol* Just trying to find a little positive spin ......
