Title: Mama Tice's Kahlua recipe
Post by: Ticeman on September 21, 2009, 08:28:33 AM
watch out, this stuff will make ya chase cars...

But boy, is it GOOD! *cool*

Kaluha

1 QT water

4 oz instant coffee (I use French Vanilla Tasters Choice)

Boil this together in one pan

1 QT water

6 cups sugar

Boil this in another pan

Let both mixtures cool to room temperature.   After both pans have cooled, combine into one pan and then add:

2 oz Vanilla

1/5 of 190 proof grain alcohol.

Pour completed mixture into bottles.  It is ready to serve.

I use beer bottles that I get at a Home Brew store but anything with a cap that seals works.

How about a recipe for the 190 grain proof likker. Don't think you can buy that around here.
