Gotta start off saying just what a super couple that Don and Sarah are. Folks ya really like to call friends !!!
I saw this combination that Don had in a one sider at the Nationals that I wanted really bad,,,but...some guy was determined to bid and bid and bid---he ended up with that one. Got me a fine Persimmon them from Don,but I didnt forget about that one sider combo and the way it sounded to my ear. Was talking to Mr Clark during turkey season and I asked him about making me one like the one he had in nashville.....He bit *bannana* *bannana*.
Decided on a two sider.I came out of the shop today and my wife handed me a box with that look---ya know the look....ya know shes thinking how many of these things do you need ;D....
This is a Cedar body that is the color of walnut. Story is that it came from a Rail Road bridge piling driven deep into the ground in 1887. How Don came about this unique looking cedar I will never know---but I am glad he did. He matched this sweet box up with Chinkapin for the lid and base. IT has the destinctive Clark It diamond pattern and a finishing touch by Dons best half Sarah on the lid. Man can she burn and talk about detail. Don, would ya freelance Sarah's woodburning to a ole hillbilly from Tennessee ----I wish I had half the talent she does.
This call sounds better than it looks guys----Don nailed this one---outta the park. Its a fine call and a treasure to me ---thanks ever so much my friend !!!

Don and Sarah are super people, I was fortunate enough to win the bid on one of his Nashville entrys last year and it is one of the finest sounding calls I have ever played!! Great call McKamey...

Jeff, Looks like you came away with a real winner in that call. I have to agree with your wife, how many more of these calls do you need. Your vest must be top heavy!!
