Title: Help for Traveling Hunters...Bag Limits
Post by: Hookspur on August 12, 2011, 06:00:00 PM
For you folks starting to plan next spring's schedule, here are the spring bag limits for all the states:

Unlimited - NJ (Buy as many tags as you like)

5 Birds - AL and SC

4 Birds - TN and TX (only 1 Eastern)

3 Birds - CA, GA, IL, MS, NE, OK, VA

2 Birds - AR, CO, CT (3, if on private land), FL, HI, ID, KS, KY, LA, ME, MD, MA, MO, MT, NM, NY, NC, ND, OH, OR (can kill an extra bird in the west), PA, VT, WA (can kill an extra bird in the west), WV, and WI

1 Bird - AZ, DE, IN, IA, MI, MN (can get a bonus tag), NV, NH, RI, SD (Black Hills limit - you can kills several more in prairie units), UT, and WY.

I think all these are correct. Please let me know if I'm mistaken.

WI has a 1 bird limit unless you buy a left over tag for one of the management zones that they are available for or you get lucky enough to get drawn for 2 tags
