Post by: SS Custom Calls on September 21, 2009, 06:26:01 AM: Rickey asked me to post this call before I mailed it. It's Mineral Poplar with a Cherry lid. It'll be in the mail today man.

Man, that is a great looking call!! I love the contrast from the cherry to the dark mineral poplar. I know coming from you guys it will be stuffed with hen turkeys. Thanks and I could not be more pleased.

Glad you like it buddy! Cherry over Poplar has been a great combo over the years for me! Just has that true turkey sound. I have a friend who has one of my early glued up calls in that combo(1990) that he's killed a lot of birds with. I've tried to buy it from him but he won't budge(YET!!) LOL Thanks man!
