There been a change in the Logo contest I posted earlier this week under Att: Artist Post. Sorry, There's not going to be one after all. I want to give a big thanks to FKIII for putting up a call for the event, but we won't need it for now but thanks for offering *cheers* Now the exiting news ...I had a great conversation with Steve Lumma *up* Steve has agreed to do the new Official Osage Roost Logo we need for the caps and maybe shirts we are planing. I look forward to seeing his creativity! Thanks for taking the job Steve!! *cheers*

I'd love to see it also Dave!! Let's turn this into a contest shall we.. ... Any Member can come up with there own design for a Logo! We will need to come up with a Logo to put on the items (hat's or shirts). So I got with Frank aka FKIII today and Frank agreed to put together a killer 3in copper pot call and striker he does as a prize for our winning entry. Thanks Frank!! I just thought it would be fun to see what the members come up with. I remember all the Logo's member's came up with for there Team Turkey Hunting contest we had this last spring. Get your entries in by August 14th and we'll let the membership poll vote a winner to see who gets Franks call and what ever we come up with in the mean time as a prize by then. If you would like to add something to the prize kitty that would be great also. PM me if you have any questions...... Time to have some fun and see what happens!! What do you all Think??

I think there was a lack of communication on this one. I think Steve had been working on a logo for quite sometime before Brent posted his idea on a contest.

KP this was all my fault. I had talked to Steve a couple of months ago and only Steve and I knew about it. I kept that very close to my chest. It was going to be a big surprise. I didn't know they were doing the contest and Brent had no idea what I had done (sometimes a big secret can back fire :( ).
I've always loved Steve's work and being from MO, I knew he'd know what I was looking for in my scene (that's about all I'm going to tell about what we talked about :) ).
I have a guy at work that can do logos, but he's not an outdoors person and I just didn't like some of the items he came up with. I wish I was blessed with an artistic talent, but I'm not :(
KP you've seen some of my photo'd up pics I've done, some you have not, but we spend hours on them. Ed Jenkins took a couple of hours to do the way I wanted it done. I've been working on a couple others to bust peoples chops with and they are not even close. We do posters in the office and we just created a volleyball season schedule since no one else will do it at work. I'm very fortunate I have a very good graphics person on my team. I'm not sure how many people on this site can do logos either. It's not something I've seen discussed in great detail here.
Once everyone sees what Steve is working on, I think everyone will love it! I think talking with him, he will knock my vision out of the park!
Just some clarification and don't blame Brent. It was me keeping my big mouth shut for once *lol*
