Title: Remembering a Lost Friend on his Birthday

 Today would be Vic Deible's birthday. He and my wife Malinda shared the same birthday and would call each other for best wishes. We dearly miss Vic and just want to take this moment to remember a dear lost friend.

Vic was a talented callmaker and a nice guy too . Tell Malinda HAPPY BIRTHDAY  from the 'ol Shadetree !

 *cheers* in memory of Vic, I liked his originality in call building and here is one to Malinda as well  *cheers*  Someday I will own one of Vic's box calls to go along with the trumpet I have.

Great Tribute Bill,  If you have a box or trumpet or 2, I would like to see his work.  I tried to Goggle it up and did not find any.  I did see where he was from Cal.

Absolutely beautiful work. *bowing* *bowing* *bowing*  On the box, is that a sound chamber within the sound chamber?  Does not look like a chalk holder!

John, it is a sound chamber. To the best of my knowlege, Vic was the first to have developed and used this.
