Not fishing but kayaking in my younger days. I have done some up to class 4. Not anymore. *lol* *lol* *lol*
This was a 15 mile run through the Trough. The South Branch of the Potomac. Fantastic Smallmouth fishing.

I fished in a kayak for a few days outside of Dunedin last year. It was pretty cool and you can certainly creep up on some fish. We caught a few reds and some trout, the day was highlighted by a curious manatee that came by to check out the kayak. I was exhausted from the paddling, sunburned to a crisp, and tired of the boaters trying to swamp you and after two days I was over it. It was fun, but I think I'll stick with good ol' flats boats if I'm going to fish skinny..
