Title: 2010 buck harvest (fangs!)
Post by: FinBonZ on July 18, 2011, 12:07:30 AM: Just found this site a couple of weeks ago and thought I would share my buck from last season. The mainbeam had been broken but I wasn't going to pass him up. While cleaning the skull to boil, I felt something on the roof of his mouth. He had a set of "fangs". I have read they are actually K9's that are a recessive gene from long ago that is rarely still found from deer. The intact beam is just over 80".
