Title: couple of woodrows....

couple a wood duck calls i been workin on....ones cedar the other is appricot....i put a satin finish on em but may go back and to a high gloss...that cedar has some purdy grain....

I like the apricot myself Craig, beautiful wood. You did a good job with them both

thanks Lee...i have a couple more pieces of the apricot just havnt got ot em yet....but you should see the cedar in the sun man its purdy...

One other thing, if you really like the way the cedar looked, try juniper!!!!!!! Holy cow, I love that stuff. I soak it in BLO for a few hours, wipe it down, buff it a little on the lathe and then put my finish on it. Looks like it is on fire inside the finish and has tons of birdseyes and character
