Title: Bulldog went to heaven last night
Post by: jmck on July 07, 2011, 08:18:11 AM: I see that the news has not been posted as of yet. I woke up this morning to a text I still was not ready for...
Bulldog lost the battle late last night. We all have known him as a strong man of faith and one also that dearly loved this place. We will miss him here on a daily basis.
Bulldog has quietly suffered along time with this illness and we can now have faith that he has been taken home by his Lord and finally healed of the earthly pains.

I am sorry that he will no longer be here to post words of inspiration to all of us, but thankful that he was here long enough to be a real inspiration to me. I only had the opportunity to talk to him on the phone a few times and several PMs here, but that was enough to know the pain that he ahs endured for so long. Atleast now I know that he is in an awesome place and enjoying the serenity of being in the presence of our Lord. He will be missed

I had the identical connection and contact with Mike--I felt lucky. While this IS difficult news I believe Mike is happy now. He suffered a LONG time with this illness and I have to believe he is glad the fight is over and definitely at peace with God. I will sure miss his input to this site and all of the call makers will surely miss his devotion to helping us all in any way he could--he really loved call making and everything turkey.

Can someone maybe Jeff post an address so we can send cards Mass cards and the like

Seemed like he was always around, always ready to help, always willing to step up. Never met him, but you knew he was a constant presence here.
