Title: Snake ID

My wife called me outside to the front porch saying we had another visitor.  Please help me ID this juvie.

If it's not dead then it's a Cobra. If it's dead then it doesn't matter. Maybe you should borrow Jeff's boots. *lol*

looks like a water snake to me but its hard to tell from the pics...not thick enough to be a cottonmouth... :-\

Markings of a moccasin, but the head is a sure sign that's it's just a water snake of some sort. Hard to tell exactly what species from that pic.

Florida Banded Water Snake.....Stinks like a cottonmouth.....

Thanks for the help.  I thought it was a banded water snake or juvie. cotton mouth.  I didn't kill it, but I did re-locate it back to the woods where it can hopefully get some rats or something.
