I'm working on. Being a friction call guy I really like the DD Adams style calls and strikers so I decided to try my hand at making a DD Adams pot call. I've made 3 so far trying to find the sound I'm looking for out of this caller. I don't really have any thing to go by other than from the looks of the pot and the surface size. I think the calls that he made may be deeper in sound. This is what I've come up with so far with the call on the upper left side giving me the sound I think I'm after. The other 2 would call birds but I think they have more of a gobbler yelp. NoAdams style strikers yet but I will be working on those soon. dang Bill they look good i hope you figure out how get the sound your looking for .what wood did he use for strikers?

I thought it was hickory and black walnut.

Thanx guys. I'm not sure what DD used for strikers but the dymondwood works well on these.
