NOTE: I will be placing 1 picture of the auction calls as they come in. When they go to auction, A series of each call with a complete description and Bio will be posted .
Simply stunning craftsmanship and sound Poplar and Walnut Parquet box call by Scott. Art work is some of the best I have seen. This is another awesome addition to an already great collection for auction.

A cool story...I hunted on a new property last Saturday...450 acres of prime turkey country--mountainous and great yawning hollers and ideal ridgelines and very mature hardwoods. Of course I went to the section where the boys weren't talkin, but +-700 yards away up on top *cry* two were hammering at everything...should I stay or should I go?? It was a new spot and maybe I should give it a chance...? Naw! What do I have to lose so I packed up and set off to circle round and come in up the back side of the ridge top they were on....ugh *cry*, 45 minutes later drippin like a sweet-hog I gave them fellers a few short yelps on one of my boxes and yes sir I get a double gobble and I know they are 200 yards over the top and out on the edge of this hilltop meadow. I scurry up and plop down 2 decs and on my way back from setting up the decs I get a triple gobble...yep, not 2 but 3 birds are a comin and quick. Talk about stop drop and roll...I never moved so fast to hit the deck and mask-up. Gun up and hit the box---whah-hoo another triple gobble and they're closing fast in an nice open hardwood and I am set just inside the understory. Okay 125 I see them waddling along...100 still closing fast and 75 they stop to look ahead so I hit them with the mouth call and bingo 2 triple gobbles and her they come again. Now at 50 but behind a big tree top from logging and low and behold it is a sweet swing daddy and 2 jakes (just like the boys I burned into this call) and that was exactly what I had running in my head--how cool would this be to take this longbeard!!! *bannana*
Suddenly they start to swing left and I have to strategically move every time they get behind some trees--it works, but they drop just off the edge of the hill top and lock up at 40 yards. I can't see them boy oh man I can hear them. So I go silent for 10 minutes...nothing so I give them some sweet talk and they hammer, but they don't move. I wait 10 more minues and hit them hard with aggressive cuts and excited yelps and I thought they were gona charge down the barrel, but again, they don't move...just blow their lungs out. Then, and this was sorta cool one of the jakes come out and hooks left and gets to about 30 yards to have a peek for the hens...he don't see them and cruises back to report to the boss. I hit them with purrs on a pot and they go nuts, but don't still...then the other jakes comes out round the right and he too peeks around and sees no hen and goes back to report to the boss. I hit ehm again and blow their tops, but sill don't move so I go silent for 20 minutes...just dying cause I am running out of ideas. Then all I do is scratch leaves and thump the ground a little they hammer still in the same spot--no calling and more leaf scratching and out come both jakes...it's killin them but the boss won't come out *aah*
Eventually they win the battle and down the other side they went, but I gotta tell that was the best darn 2 hrs of my season and in the end it didn't matter that I didn't kill a bird--I leanerd a ton and I know where I'll be opening day next season!!
