Hey Scott!! Glad you made it!!!
I think you're gonna like it around here. There are a couple if basic pieces of equipment that you'll need to really enjoy it, though. Hip boots are a must - chest waders on occasion. A good pair of sunglasses- all the yellow wood around here can be blinding at times. Add a good sense of humor and I think you're set.

We're still working on the Porterism Dictionary, but we'll send you the first 8 volumes of what we have so far. It's a work in progress.

Other than that, you're set! Just jump on in and join the fun! ...oh, and post up a couple of those pots you showed me. These guys will love 'em!

Hey all, thanks for all the kind words! and thanks to Barefoot for the invite over here.  I'm only a beginner pot call builder, so hope you don't mind if I end up asking some how to's once in a while.

   As for me, I'll give ya a little background.  I'm married to a wonderful gal, Jeanne, for 23 years now.  Got 2 boys, Brandon,17,  and Trevor, 13.  Live in and dodge tornadoes in Grain Valley, MO. LOL.  (little humor for those who have been watching the news).   I'm a fleet mechanic for the Kansas City Fire Dept. on the ambulance division.  I like to hunt using many differant methods, bow, gun, and black powder, Love to fish when I can find the time, and almost anything that has to do with the great outdoors.  My hobbies are of course making pot calls, but I like to do all kinds of wood working, (Remind me sometime, and I'll post pics of some pieces that I have made) keeping up with my hunting property, building antique muzzleloaders, cooking, and spending time with the family.  Can't think of much else to bore ya with, so I'll call it here for now.  Thanks again, Scott.
