Just finished this little beauty up Osage Orange Owl Hooter has fantastic sound with alot of volume this aslo has the slimline look of my second design.

Well hence the word Owl Call thats the sound you get out of each one lol....there real good sounding owl calls great volume i use the Little Dixie Guts not the cheaper guts like Pioneer sells and with the deep sound chamber you can get a loud hoot along with a good growl.

Well what I was referring to is more like a deep tone , higher pitched ect.. I hope it sounds like a owl... turkey calls are suppose to sound like turkeys but that isnt the case always. Which one do you think sounds better your old or new style? PM me if you want!! Does woods make a difference in the sound of your hooters? I know the harrison hooters pretty much sound the same..

Like i said it has great volume the newer design i feel has a more deeper sound then the first one i did as for wood i dont see any difference in the sound by what wood i use i am working on a Bocote wood one right now that sounds as good as the osage i'll finish trimming the reed tonight and try posting some pics by the weekend
