Title: Fencepost caller from Ferguson

This call here has a lot of meaning to me.  This is from a fence post that I helped David pull out of the ground.  I got to watch him cut the fence post up and pick the blank I wanted for my caller and paddle.

He asked what I wanted on it and I said Alley Springs Mill and a fence post.  I've been around David for almost a year now and his wood burning skills have improved drastically.  I'm very pleased with how this caller came out!   Nasty old hen sound and one that will be with me in my vest a lot!

David thanks for taking the time to do this caller for me and it was more than I expected!

Mike I just wanted to say thanks again for starting this thread as I have talked and exchanged several emails with David.  I plan on making the drive to visit him in the near future and have a call in the making.  His knowledge of the Eminence, MO folk art is very interesting and I hope he continues the heritage for many years to come.
