Title: My favorite day hunting

Didn't actually entail working any close birds or getting a shot.. nope it was yesterday.  Saturday my son said he wanted to go with Dad.  I'd bought him a turkey vest and some camo.  I didn't know if he would wake up that early, but he sure did.  We had a blast.  He got to hear some birds thunder and we went after a couple.  He did get to hear some hens cutting and cackling and that really excited him. 

He said he wanted to go deer hunting this year too!  I am pumped!!!

Just a few pics of my boy!!  It was a true treasure to spend the woods with my son!

That is a miniature PORTER walking the woods. Glad you got to spend the Quality time with him.

Congrats on your son taking intrest in going with dad----thats the best times in the woods. My youngest daughter told me last night she wants to turkeu hunt next season---it going to be fun getting her set up and ready for the shot---I really look forward to it.

SPEND TIME HUNTING WITH YOUR KIDS....so you dont have to spend time HUNTING FOR YOUR KIDS !!!

Yes Sir Mike ya cant beat that quality time with the kids. He sure looks like a hunter he has the determined look in his eye good day for sure.

That is awesome, Mike. Wish I could turn the clock back and experience that feeling again...nothing like it!..Take your kids hunting every chance you get!!! *up* *up*
