Title: Morels poppin' up in the Buckeye state !!

Well the weather finally broke enough to get back in the woods today . The turkeys weren't cooperative but I was able to put the sneek on some big mushrooms. I found over 100 total in a 50 yd square area . Some of them were nearly 10 inches tall . I found over 30 that were the size of beer bottles . Funny thing is ... I don't even like to eat them , but I love to hunt them ! My Mom and the landowner are eating good right now !! I took pics with the callers I am using right now . One is a fantastic hen box by Charlie Parrish , man this caller sings in the woods ! The other is an absolutely awesome Arkansas Diamond by Don Clark . You can see the size of some of these fungi I was tripping over . If I saw those caals in those mushrooms.....the calls would be picked  ;D

You did good on picking both. A pair of fine callers and some fine eating.
I have only found 12 to 15 black ones. I gave them away also.

Cool!  Both the calls and the moochers. Didn't find too many turkeys this past weekend but did find almost 400 of the little tasty tidbits!
