Here is a caller I have been working on for a few weeks now . It is finally dry and tuned , ready to ship to it's new owner . While at this years NWTF convention, I talked to Lee and Tiffany Lakosky about making them a couple callers . Well everyone knows Tiffany loves the color pink and even carries pink arrows hunting . I decided to make her a pink turkey caller and built it from yellow poplar from York county , PA , which I got from my good friend Zumer . I used pink ivory wood for the handle and nose of the caller, with padauk spacers . The working part of this call is poplar on poplar which is a combo I don't think I've seen before and it sounds great . To keep the caller in theme , I made a matching lid with the poplar and it really surprised me with the nice sound it has . For you traditionalists , I made this caller square-backed . This gives it great yawk on the back end ! I would take this one out to get a bloody thumbprint in it but I am afraid I'd mess it up before she gets it ! I hope that Tiffany takes it out and rolls a big gobbler with it ! Thanks for looking !

Bob, I say without any hesitation, that sir is a spectacular looking call and knowing your work, it DOES sound as good as it looks and it'll match the sweet looks of its new owner *bannana* *bannana* I love the matching design and the color selection is spot on for sure. Poplar over poplar, now I too would have suspected that to be a challenge and perhaps it was so cudos to you *up* Last but not over looked by me is your photographic composition--great use of the natural flowers and stone--an all around super job. Tiffany should be more than proud to carry that in her vest...that is if I don't jump in there first ROTFLMBO ROTFLMBO *bannana*

I am not a pink kind of guy, but I know Tiffany will love that call. I really like the style of the call and I like the way you inserted the Paduak wood spacers. It give the call a classy look. Stoner
