Title: Youth Turkey Contest

The Youth Contest will be for kids 14 years of age and under.  The rules are as follows....

1. Post a pic of you with your bird.
2. Write a short story of the hunt.  If the kids are under 8 the parent/mentor can help them write it.  Please keep the story at around 300 words or so.

The winner will be a combination of the best pics and story.  NOT THE BIGGEST BIRD!


Here's the call that the winner will receive.  It is from my collection and is made by Jon "Petie" Ross.  The pot is Spalted Maple and the surface is slate/slate.

I am sure my daughter will want to enter if I can get a bird in front of her.
