Title: lightening osage
Post by: firedup on March 28, 2011, 09:38:10 PM: Well...sort of. Since the birds like to cut loose during a storm I thought this mite add a touch of good karma. Osage Trumpet with a henbone mouthpiece. Cartridge shell transition. The lightening inlay is chip turqoise and black onyx. I made this for a good friend who has a lightening thing going on. Made him a box a couple years ago. Its pic is included also.

Box is walnut over cherry with figured butternut (thundercloud) and birdseye details on lid. Lightening bolt is inlayed holly.
