Title: Farmer Ivory Trumpet Opening Day Gobbler

I called this gobbler in with a Zach Farmer Ivory caller on opening morning here in NW Florida.  I did two series of tree yelps and one short yelping sequence when the gobbler flew down.  He strutted in and I killed him at 7:45 a.m.  This is the first gobbler that I have called in with Zach's Ivory call.  I apologize for the quality of the pictures, I was by myself and didn't have anyone to take the pictures so did the best I could.  It was a good day for sure!

The gobbler weighed 18.5 pounds and had a 10.25 inch beard with 1 3/16 inch sharp spurs.

WTG! I have a hard time taking my Blackwood one out.  I cannot imagine what trepidation occurs when THAT one leaves the house! CONGRATS!
